lyodMirrorFina2lIncase of Bi Prism Assembly, a Bi Prism is used to produce two sources of light from a single source in order to generate interference fringes but, these fringes are also produced using Lloyd mirror in place of a Bi Prism. In Lloyd Mirror Assembly, the Lloyd Mirror is placed near the vertical slit on a specially designed upright which has provision to make the mirror exactly parallel to the vertical slit. The fringes are seen through the eyepiece formed by direct slit and its image through the Lloyd mirror.

Rest of the accessories used in this apparatus are the same as in the Bi Prism Assembly.
